CAN A THAILAND ELITE MEMBERS OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT IN THAILAND?
A bank account can be opened in Thailand for Thailand Elite Members.
Thailand Elite is partnered with Kasikorn Bank (K-Bank) or Bangkok Bank (BBL) to facilitate the bank opening process.
HOW TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT?
To open an account with Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn Bank as a Thailand Elite Visa Holder, members must prepare the following documents.
- Valid passport (same passport as registered with Thailand Elite)
2.Valid Thailand Elite's Privilege Entry Visa (PE) or Special Entry Visa (SE)
3. Thailand Elite Membership Card
4. Thai mobile phone number
5. Details of your residence in Thailand
Members who have the documents as listed above can walk in at any branch of Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn Bank to open the bank account.
***However, for members who have not received Thailand Elite Visa and Thailand Elite Membership card, walk-ins at the bank are not available.
For members without Thailand Elite Visa and membership card, they are required to make a reservation for Bank account opening via the member services
***Reservation must be made no less than 5 working days in advance.

Foreign currency deposit accounts*
- Minimum deposit and availability can vary between the branches, please contact the branch first.
What branch can members open the account?
At any branch of Bangkok Bank or Kasikorn Bank, members can open a Thai Baht Account. Foreign Currency Deposit (FCD) accounts, however, are only available at specific branches of the two banks. Check with the Member Contact Center to see which branches are available.
Are there someone from Thailand Elite to assist member at the bank?
Only at Bangkok Bank Silom Head Office is an elite personal liaison service (reservation is required 5 working days in advance and is subject to schedule availability).
